Dhaka's Transportation Condition

Dhaka is a city of population over 12 million. Day by day people are coming from village to town. So, all city including Dhaka are going to be more crowded to crowded. Due to proper job and unemployment problem in village area people are rushing to big cities including capital city Dhaka.

Dhaka's transportation system is in very critical condition. Traveling by bus is a bitter and most tough job for city dwellers. Though there were some AC bus during the previous government's period but all of them has gone out from the street of Dhaka.

To many of us traveling by bus is a great war. You have to appear in heavy competition to get on the bus, because the quantity of buses are few comparing with bus passengers. In this period many of us lose their money bag too in this war.

Bus Passenger Tent: It's a matter of frustration that the bus fare raising is a regular business of Government and bus owner. But not a minimum facilities are available for bus passenger at Dhaka. In the bus stop people have to wait long for bus in the sun light and in rain. There is no bus tent for passenger in the stop.

With great hope though people of Dhaka have voted the Awamileague led government but this party has failed to meet people's minimum requirements in the local communication sector. Within last two years they have showed zero progress in communication sector.

Nearest big cities like Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Thailand has achieved much development in local transportation system. Bangladesh government can learn from those government to serve the people of Dhaka.

Bangladesh Econmy is Disrupted by Strike

Bangladesh is a small country in south Asia. After obtaining independence from Pakistan in 16 December of 1971 the country has been facing political unrest continuously. Strike is a regular well known tactic and culture in Bangladesh.

Recent strike is called by opposition party BNP and its ally to protest against government to stop constitutional amendment. According this amendment it will demolish a fifteen year old requirement that general elections be overseen by a nonpartisan caretaker government after the end of power of five-year term.

Pakistan is known as a terrorist country worldwide. On the other-hand Bangladesh is peaceful country. Bangladeshi people are polite and calm than any other nation in the world. Due to existence of Pakistani dirty political culture inside of some elite group and political parties the country has been struggling to gain political stability.

Real practice of democracy is not present here. All political party are busy to build up their own party not country. Sheikh Hasina and its party is not far from it. This rulling party is busy to empowering its own party rather than the country's overall development.

Government should take public opinion directly. Member of parliament's opinion is not enough to amend any sensitive bill. Because most of the MP are blind followers of their own party. So, we cannot measure public opinion through member of parliament.

So, to protect opposition's strike, vote is real solution of any major amendment. I think both the government and opposition parties should come to a conclusion. They should think about the country not the party.

As a common and nonalignment citizen we want country's economic growth. We do not want to see any more strike or any more military coup in this country. We want to see poverty free Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Strike

Strike in Bangladesh is going on today. Today is 3rd July of 2011. Strike is called by opposition party BNP and it's allies parties. Awamileague govt has demolished caretaker government system. But BNP does not like to disable care-taking process during the election period of transition power. Not only that the opposition party also has some other issues of Hortal.

We are democratic country. It means administration of people. But People do not participate directly to exercise democratic system to introducing a new law. They have authorized their respective MP to do that.

When a Parliament is directed by respecting of all MP'S opinion, then it can be called a democratic parliament. But when it is run by only one party or combination of some of its blind followers then it diverts into a dictatorial government.

Bangladesh is running by a dictatorial government. Because another big party's presence or their opinion has no value. In another word it can be said that a large number people's opinion has been dishonoring by this government.

This is not called democratic practice. Bangladesh is not for a party or for some group of people. It is for all. Government should realize this simple math. So, they should care of all opinions to produce a new law.

On the other hand I will suggest BNP and some other followers to keep patient. They should go parliament. They should express their opinion inside parliament. They will have to show the people and probe that their opinion has been neglecting again and again in the parliament.

When they will be able to probe government's dictatorial attitude in the parliament, then ultimately their popularity will be increased. They should broaden their mind. They should look outside world, what opposition parties are doing for their people .

Both of Government and opposition party's target should be welfare of people and economic growth for the country. Nobody should hamper to gain those objects. If they can achieve these two objects they will be placed inside the people's heart otherwise people will think alternative
