Regent Airways Review

Regent airways is one of the most popular local airlines in Bangladesh. People like to travel on air from one district to another. But due to lac of air lines,infrastructure, airport people cannot travel by air in many district. Like Khulna, Rajshahi, Barisal there is no aiport yet.

However due to financial development and increasing people's GDP a huge number of peoples are traveling by air in Bangladesh. Comparing with demand there is no enough local fligt yet. So, some local flight providers are doing monopoly business. Novo air, United airways and Regent are the names who are providing local inter district flight services in Bangladesh.

I have traveled on 09 June, 2013 from Dhaka to Jessore and came back from Jessore to Dhaka on 10th June. I was so surprised to see the service of Regent airways BD services. Sweat was coming out from all of the passengers. People felt very hot inside the airbus. So, Regent authority should take care about air condition system in all of the filights.

The food was provided was very poor and low standard. They provided one piece small cake, a packet of nut and one small water bottle. May be 20 taka only the total cost for that food. Passengers are paying 3500 taka from Dhaka to Jessore. It is expensive considering people's income in Bangladesh. Considering peopl'es demand they should change theri food menu in the flight. At least they can provide any energy drinks like coca cola or any juice.

About timing. Though the flight schedule was 6 pm but it was flew at 6.30 pm. 30 minutes late. So, many passengers was angry to see their flight schedule. At least they should inform the passengers for causes of  delay flight. But they did not do that.

When I came back from Jessore to  Dhaka on 10th June the same problem was remained on the flight no RX 764.  So, I  think almost all of the air buses has the same problem. I saw a baby cockroach as a  extra sample of their cleanliness and services  for air passengers in Bangladesh.

Final statement; So, the flight had four problems: one is AC, second is Food, third is timing and the fourth is cleanliness.

So, the authority of REGENT should take necessary steps to remove all of those four problems immediately. They should take about customers disadvantages. They should take survey and feedback from the customer. It can help to develop their services otherwise Regent Airways will loose its passengers.
