Dream Holiday Park

On Friday at Eidul Fitre holiday I traveled Dream Holiday Park located at Pachduna in Norshingdi district. First of all thanks for the owner of this amusement park. It meets people’s entertainment demand. Specially there is not enough amusement park comparing the numbers of people in Dhaka. It is bigger park comparing with other parks nearby Dhaka.

There is no doubt that it is a beautiful park in Bangladesh. All age’s people can enjoy it. There are 26 riders. Electric car, 9D cinema, Train, Motor racing etc are good riders. There is enough water based riders like speed boat, normal boat etc. Though there is many good things of this park but some disadvantages are also there. Some of those have been discussed in below:

First advantage is it is far from Dhaka. This park is 1-2 hours journey from Dhaka. So, you will have to spend 2-4 hours on the road to reach and return home by car. To enjoy all the riders you will have to spend all the day inside the park. So, it is time killing issue.

Second problem is sitting arrangement. It is very difficult to standby all the day in the park. So, the second problem of this park is there is no enough sitting arrangement throughout the park.

Third problem is some rider’s time is very short like motor race. At least 10 minutes should be there but only 4-5 minutes are there only.

Fourth problem is First Aid facility. There is no first aid arrangement in the park. My second son was wounded by pest bite. I asked minimum 5-8 staffs including security staffs but nobody could say about the first aid facility in the park. Finally one man said there is first aid facility nearby the ticket counter. But after arrival I saw the room was locked. So, I can say here is some miscommunication among the staffs and management and mismanagement of the park.

Fifth problem is poor restaurant facility. There is no enough restaurant inside the park. I waited more than an hour to get seat to get lunch. At least two or three waiters should be there in the restaurant but only one waiter was serving during the rush time. Sitting arrangement in the restaurant is also poor.

Sixth problem is there is no facility to perform Juma prayer in the park. Though tens of thousands of people gather in the special occasion in the place but lac of praying facility inside the park really shock the visitors.
