MileStone School and College Tragedy

 Recently a F-7 fighter has fallen into a school named Mile Stone School and College at Uttara in Dhaka nearby Hazrat Shaha Jalal International Airport. It killed 35 students until now. From the authority it is told that this plan has mechanical fault.This kind of fihter plane has many complains which are pulished in Reuters. So, it is time to think about using this plane for air force training purpose in Bangladesh.

Second issue is how a school can be built and approved by governemnt several agencies like Ministry of Education, Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Civil Aviation in such senstitive area? Daily average serveral hundreads filghts are landed in straight over the school. Not only that due to very nearest location of airport the planes come down as low as the lowest altitude before landing.

So, it is time to think about the existent of this school in the same area in future. Considering the student health and mental conditon it is urgent to measure range of audiable noise range of the planes in this route and in this altitude. It is time for Bangladeshi respective agencies to analyse the data of noise record immediately. If the noise level is too high during plane flying time over the school then immediately the school should the sut down and shifted in another area.

We have lost 35 talents from the country. It is a cry of 35 families. Another all students of this school will suffer this psychological  trauma in the coming years too. It is heart broken incident in Bangladesh history. We want this kind of miserable incident will not happen in future. Special investigation team should be employed for existency of this school in the same dangerous location.

Our question is how Ministry of Environment and DOE has given permission i.e environment certificate for this school in this kind of dangerous location. How Ministry of Education has permitted to establish a school at so busy plane route area? So, both the respective persons from the respective ministries should bring under accountability and punishment.

We also condemn Bangladesh Air Force for managing training fighter plane over the crowdy area. It is time for this agency to change in their policy for manging training flight in empty zone not crowded area. 

We want what preventive action has been taken by the respective school authority and regulatory bodies of Bangladesh? We do not want repitation of this kind pathetic incident in future. Bangladeshi people are waiting to see what actions have been taken both the school authority and the governement respective agencies.
